The women react in unison. "You what?" Rogue to the underage winner gleefully swinging house keys, car keys on a chain and Mercy to the scowling, shamefaced loser of the poker match.
Tante Mattie's deep, hearty laughter suddenly breaks into the shock and her sides heave. "I tol' you not to play your brother's fille!"
